I also was surprised to find out that one of the ladies who attended actually ended up adopting a dog (from the Carson shelter) after she saw her in one of my photos and a video that was posted on my Facebook page. County Mayor Michael Antonovich and his spokesman, Tony Bell, refuse a meeting with Shorty Rossi over his desire to discuss why owner responsibility and breed-neutral laws are far more appropriate than BSL (breed-specific legislation), which ends up unfairly targeting dogs and dog owners in mass.
